How does the new Ending Gallery work?

Official patch information, checked September 6, 2026: the main-menu Ending Gallery shows obtained endings and gives contextual hints for endings still missing. Because earlier ending completion was not tracked, the list starts empty after updating; it then checks existing achievements and automatically awards endings associated with achievements. Endings without an achievement may need to be replayed.

Which endings are officially confirmed?

Steam promises multiple endings based on player actions. The achievement list confirms any three-heart ending, an encounter and romance with the Sentient Darkness, and relationship outcomes labelled Midori and Me, Monami and Me and Maria and Me. Some achievement descriptions are intentionally hidden, so their exact route is not stated here.

How do three-heart and broken-heart routes differ?

A three-heart route requires keeping Hheily’s progress healthy across the color phases. The All’s well… achievement triggers on any three-heart ending. Two separate Steam discussion threads now report that the hidden Superstar result follows two broken hearts and the parade; one describes feeding three marked living things for each heart. Steam still hides Superstar’s official description, so treat the exact sacrifice count as a patch-sensitive community route, not a guaranteed rule.

How do you reach the Sentient Darkness?

Community reports identify Darkness-related events such as the three neighbor stages, entering the bathroom afterward, a cultist phone call, the first heart and a rare letter. Launch Week Patch 1 officially lowers the special NPC trigger to five Darkness-related events instead of six out of seven, makes later Darkness events more aggressive, and prioritizes that NPC over basic encounters. The achievements confirm the Sentient Darkness encounter and romance, but not every community step.

What can block Maria or other routes?

Use the Maria stage-by-stage checklist to separate an invitation from her later request to enter. Launch Week Patch 1 fixes an appearance bug and removes some unmet visitors from the mid-game pool when their arcs become difficult or impossible. Prepare invitations early; no published fixed deadline or low-Darkness requirement is established.

Verify a result before replacing your branch save

Write down the gallery hint or achievement you are targeting before loading the branch. An achievement name and a community ending label are not necessarily identical.
After the outcome, check the Ending Gallery and, if applicable, the Steam achievement separately. Record which one changed instead of assuming both registered.
If the intended entry is still missing, keep the original branch save. Compare the exact final choice, phase and pet or visitor state with the relevant route guide before changing one condition at a time.
