Hheily is a sentient, shapeshifting comet and the central love interest of Crush Landing. Her weakening flame drives the color-management puzzle, while her exposure mutates plants, animals and organic matter around the apartment.
Who is Hheily?
Steam describes Hheily as a captivating comet whose arrival pulls the protagonist into a conflict between light and darkness. She can assume a humanoid form, but the meteorite and its flame remain central to her survival. Brianna Knickerbocker voices Hheily according to launch coverage.
What inspired the character?
The official store identifies H. P. Lovecraft’s The Colour Out of Space and Clark Ashton Smith’s The City of the Singing Flame as inspirations. Akabaka explained that Hheily is not an Outer God, which is why Crush Landing removes the ritual book used in the prior games and builds gameplay around mutation, exposure and color.
How does Hheily affect gameplay?
Feeding her flame advances hearts and consumes colored objects. Living sacrifices can break hearts and lead toward a darker outcome, while protecting the fish and chameleon supports a special achievement. Dialogue choices and the condition of the flame affect how characters see the protagonist and which ending family becomes available.
Is Hheily the only romance?
She is the advertised central romance, but the official achievement list confirms additional relationship outcomes involving the Sentient Darkness, Midori, Monami and Maria. These are route results, not evidence that every visitor is a fully equivalent main romance.
Is there official Hheily merchandise?
The announced campaign deadline has passed. The official final-call notice set the deadline at October 20, 2026, 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time. As of the October 24 source check, that date is in the past.
